Greville Percival is our joint MD. He was formerly head of research
and customer services at the Commission for Racial Equality. His
research agency experience includes Stats MR Ltd and ACNielsen
Marketing Research At the CRE Greville cut costs by bringing capital
intensive work in-house and outsourcing fieldwork and data entry. He
made statistical analysis a key part of the CRE’s formal
investigations; and ran its extensive research programme. He has
provided research consultancy to CABE, the Runnymede Trust, the
Electoral Commission and the Centre for Research on Economic, Social
and Cultural Change (CRESC). Greville’s customer service skills were
first called upon when he was skipper of a passenger boat based at the
port of Lowestoft, Suffolk. His leisure time is spent on photography,
and mountain biking in Scotland.

Maurice Forsythe is
joint MD of Forsythe Consulting and was also a senior manager at the
CRE, where he ran the extensive community development, outreach and
development programmes. Maurice is responsible for new business
development and has recently completed a long term assignment for
Voluntary Action Camden.Maurice’s skills and experience ensure that our
work never loses touch with the grass roots. Maurice travels
extensively and enjoys good wine and meeting friends old and new. He is
also developing our European and US business links.

Roger Landells is Research Director of Forsythe Consulting. Roger
joined us after several years as Chairman and CEO of Market Research
Solutions (IIP & MRQSA). Roger created Market Research Solutions
from a management buyout of Nielsen Consumer Research. Roger’s early
career was as Director of Market Planning with Watney Mann & Truman
where he honed his expertise in consumer market research, statistics
and sampling. He does indeed know how to organise a drinks party in a
brewery. Roger was previously a director of A C Nielsen Marketing
Research; where he controlled 700 staff with an annual budget of £20m.
Roger’s interests include golf, classic cars, wine and food, and fly
fishing.

Marjorie Thompson works
with Forsythe Consulting on a range of marketing and media activities.
Marjorie has worked for some of Britain’s most famous ‘brand names’:
CND, Saatchi & Saatchi, and the Royal College of Nursing. She is an
acknowledged expert on, corporate social responsibility, how pressure
groups influence Parliament, cause-related marketing, the Euro-American
relationship, secrets of ‘Inspired Leaders’ and the lobbying process.
George Robertson, outgoing NATO secretary general wrote to her on his
elevation to Secretary of State for Defence: ‘In many ways it was my
battles with you that made me robust enough to get here.’ She remains
popular with the defence community and over the years has addressed the
Royal Naval Engineering College at Manandon, officers on a political
course at the Royal Naval College at Greenwich, officers aboard the Ark
Royal. Marjorie talks annually at the Joint Staff Services Command
College at Shrivenham.

Virginia Gorna is an independent consultant with expertise in
Neighbourhood Renewal, single regeneration budget (SRB), Sure Start and other government funding regimes.
She works extensively in the youth and community sectors for local authorities and the voluntary & community sector (VCS).
In addition to Sure Start Virginia is involved with initiatives
including the development of community nurseries and childcare courses.
Virginia has considerable experience of working with refugees on
projects such as the establishment of a Somali Youth Project, Somali
Summer University and One Stop Shop for Refugees. Virginia was a member
of the team undertaking research on Service Delivery and the Somali
Community for the Government office for London in 2004.
